Server changes

Our TF2 server now runs Payload maps only, unless voted otherwise.

All of the old custom maps are still on the server, but players must say 'rtv' for the server to change to those maps. Map nominations are also now enabled.

Just trying around some different setups to see which works the best. If you guys have any other good custom payload maps, let me know and I'll be happy to add them.

Don't forget about the donations system! There is a section for it at the top of the forum board. Even the slightest amount of money will help Jimmy to pay for the server and might let us get more if our current one gets popular enough.

All proceeds will help out for paying for the server(s). So instead of just donating money, you can get an item from our new Cafe Press Store and we'll make sure that is added to the server fund!

EDIT:

Other products / shirts, etc ARE available upon request, but I did try to pick out the most common clothing items and trinkets. As it stands, there are a limited number of items since I created a free account under cafe press. Otherwise, we would have a monthly bill for the store as well. (O_o)

Donation issues etc

I noticed recently that our Donation server is down for some apparent reason. I will work with Jimmy to get this back online as soon as I can. For now just sit tight (I know you all want to help so much! )

And on another note, something ''sticky'' looms in the horizon.. to be revealed with one of the upcoming BAY nights, maybe this week or the next, can't decide yet. As far as what it is, I'll let you figure it out. :]

Server costs and donations

This time around I'm going to give members (as well as pubs) a chance to donate to help us keep the server going. There is a simple system developed by our server provider called ClanPay. All you do is go to this link: http://clanpay.darkstarllc.com/donate.php?NTk1NTI= and follow the instructions, choosing either PayPal or Credit Card. The money you donate is subtracted from the amount of money that Jimmy has to pay every month, so any amount of money is acceptable for donations (even if its just 50 cents, it helps!).

I'm looking into adding 2 reserve slots on our server so that people who donate (and clan members) can use these to join the server once all the public slots are full.

NOTE: There is a new section of the forum called Donations, where you can access the ClanPay page.

Team Fortress 2 Server re-opened

We have again purchased a TF2 server..
Big thanks to Jimmysmitty for his generosity to the clan!

Just like before, it runs Custom Maps with Payload and Valve maps mixed here and there.

We will be opening a donation system soon so that members (and pubs) may donate to help us maintain the servers or possibly get new ones!
